School Meals

Our School Cook, Mrs Kruger-Logan, prepares daily meals of a very high standard.  The children have a choice of two main courses including a vegetarian option and also a pasta or jacket potato option. Under the Government’s Universal Free School Meal Scheme, all state funded infant school children (i.e. those in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will receive a free school lunch.

If your child would not like a school dinner they are able to bring a packed lunch. As a school we promote eating healthily. Below is a document to support packing a healthy lunch.

We are also a nut free school due to having some children with severe nut allergies. If someone has a nut allergy it is not just eating nuts that can cause a severe reaction, just being touched on the skin or smelling the breath of someone who has had nuts or a product containing nuts can trigger anaphylactic shock (which can cause breathing and swallowing difficulties). For more information please read the letter below.
