Abbots Farm Friends (AFF)
Abbots Farm Friends is a group of parents, staff and members of the local Abbots Farm community who organise fundraising events and activities during the school year for the benefit of children attending Abbots Farm Infant School and Preschool.
All parents and carers of children attending our infant school and preschool, along with members of staff, are welcome to join the fundraising team. Joining us is a great way for new parents at Abbots Farm to get to know the school community.
Money raised through our fundraising has been used to enrich the curriculum with our school, including musical instruments, books, and outdoor learning resources. Money is also used to subsidise school visits to help keep costs down.
Some examples of our recent fundraising events include our Christmas and Summer Fairs, school discos, cake sales, pre-loved uniform sales, and bingo.
Abbots Farm Friends is registered with easyfundraising which allows us to receive a valuable donation whenever you shop with any of more than 3,300
different online retailers including Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com, eBay, Boden and M&S.
We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to help plan and run events during the year. We understand that not everyone is able to attend planning meetings – even an offer of help for just an hour at an event can make a huge difference! Our successful events need a mixture of behind the scenes planning and support at events – if you think you can help in either capacity please do get in touch!
