School Meals
Our School Cook, Mrs Copland, prepares daily meals of a very high standard. The children have a choice of two main courses and a vegetarian option is always available Under the Government’s Universal Free School Meal Scheme, all state funded infant school children (i.e. those in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will receive a free school lunch from September 2014.
If your child would not like a school dinner they are able to bring a packed lunch. As a school we promote eating healthily. Below is a document to support packing a healthy lunch.
I would like to emphasise that if your child is eligible for free school meals using the current qualifying criteria, you should still apply as you may be eligible for other forms of assistance such as school trips and additional support.
