Fairer Funding Campaign

SCHOOL BUDGETS ARE AT BREAKING POINT

Education funding is falling and our schools will suffer by:

  • Fewer teaching and support staff
  • Less support for children
  • Increased class sizes
  • Less choice of subjects.

Here at Abbots Farm Infant school we are set to lose £178 per pupil. However, across Warwickshire the average loss is £396.To find out how much your school might lose look at www.schoolcuts.org.uk.

What can you do?

Join the campaign and spread the word amongst friends in other schools. Parent voice is a powerful tool and the government need to hear you. Below is a leaflet from a parent group called ‘Fair Funding for All Schools’. Please look at their website www.fairfundingforallschools.org and sign their petition. Below is a  template of letters to send to Mark Pawsey, our local MP. We have until March 8th to make a difference.
